Erotic Lifestyle, has since 1991 been a pioneer in Sex toys and sexy clothing. Our premises were part of the release of Pornography, in 1969. Later, it was one of the first stores to focus on Sex Toys and Sexy Apparel, with Women and Couples’ wishes in mind.
It has always been our mission to be able to offer sex toys and sexy clothing, in a safe and proper environment. For 30 years, we have been successful in being able to offer a large selection, to be first with the news, and at a competitive price range. We will continue to strive to have a high level of service, and our well-trained staff will be happy to guide you with your next purchase, so you do not get lost in the jungle of more or less good sex toys.
Historic Premises
Erotic Lifestyle is located in the heart of Copenhagen, at Istedgade 14. When the release of Pornography took place in Denmark in 1969, Istedgade was the front line. At Istedgade 14, “Flamingo Club” arose and from 1969 and the first years of the 70s, Strip Tease was danced and “Live Shows” were made in the premises.
Then following years the premises housed a hair salon.
In 1979, the premises were converted into porn shop, with the sale of magazines and films.
In 1991, the premises were taken over by the current owner, and the concept was changed from the usual porn shop, to focus on erotica. The “shady” image of the time was replaced, and the concept of focusing on sex toys and sexy clothing, for women and couples, was born.
Since 1991, the store, concept and assortment have undergone constant development, and today, with a wider selection, larger assortment, the store appears more inviting, and in general at a higher level than ever. The highly educated and service-minded staff look forward to welcoming you, every day, all week.
